In 2002, Davy Demuynck pursued his passion for sports with a degree in Physical Education. Immediately after, he strengthened his management skills with a Master’s in General Management from Vlerick Business School.
Following his studies, Davy started his career as Business Development Manager at Katoen Natie. In 2006 he took his first steps in property development as Business Development Manager Real Estate at Eurinpro/Goodman. That is where he first worked with Kristof Vanfleteren and from then on, their careers followed a similar path. Davy delved further into the sector and obtained a Master’s in Real Estate from KU Leuven in 2007. In 2008, he moved to Allfin, where he was appointed Real-Estate Development Director.
In 2011, given their like-minded vision on innovative property development, Davy and Kristof decided, with the support of Paul Thiers, to set up their own property development company in West Flanders. That is how ION was born. Today, Davy is managing partner and CEO, and together with Kristof, he focuses on building a successful future for ION and its projects.
